A happy bunny loves and looks forward to eating. There is nothing cuter than seeing your furry friend eat. When your bunny eats, it almost looks like they have a smile while eating. If your bunny runs off with his/her food, it means they are so happy and excited that they can’t contain themselves.
If your bunny shows actions of exploring, digging, jumping and chewing, it most likely means they are happy. To have the perfect playtime, you should make a safe play area with other furry friends. It’s also a great idea to create obstacles that they can jump through, run around, and hide in. You can make it more exciting by getting a dig box with dirt or sand.
If your bunny enjoys spending time with you, it means they are comfortable and relaxed with you. Some bunnies enjoy being fussed but the ones that don’t shouldn’t be alarming to you. It just means they are more independent or less confident than others. For the bunnies that do enjoy being fussed, they typically really enjoy head rubs. They will usually start grinding their teeth as a sign of pleasure and happiness. Take caution if your bunny starts to grind their teeth very loudly as this can mean they are in pain and should be taken to the vet.
Your furry friend will show affection when being groomed. If they lick your hand or face, they are showing love and care for you.
If your bunny’s home has abundant space, toys and isn’t destroyed, it means your bunny loves and cherishes his/her home. Chewing is a natural instinct for bunnies, so if there’s some chewing being done around their home it’s completely normal. If you see a substantial amount of chewing being done around their home, especially near the door, it could mean that they are stressed or bored. Bunnies tend to get frustrated especially because of all their hormones. That’s why it is recommended that you spay/neuter your bunny because doing so will calm them down.
Bunnies typically sleep about 8 hours a day just like humans, but its not done all at once, they take various naps throughout the day. Make sure to provide your bunny with a quiet, snug and safe place to nap.
