On Friday, November 20, 2020, Dennis Hurley, a master falconer paid a visit to Petland Tyler to bring awareness about falcon conservation. Hurley also brought a few of his falcon friends with him! 

During his time at our store, Hurley held a seminar for everyone interested, discussing the importance of raptor conservation for our environment. He also brought awareness about the impact of falconry in East Texas. Falconry, which requires extensive licensure, is a wonderful sport that teaches patience, strength, and exercises intelligence. These are strong traits to have and strengthen!

We are incredibly thrilled to have met and invited Dennis Hurley to Petland Tyler. As animal lovers, we want our community to respect and protect all living creatures we share our planet with. Hurley’s seminar and his relationship with his falcons taught us the importance of maintaining a close relationship with animals, particularly the feathery kind!
