On Saturday, September 7, 2019, our team at Petland Tyler and puppies walked alongside people with epilepsy and their loved ones at The Walk to END EPILEPSY, hosted by The Epilepsy Foundation of Texas.

The event took place at Rose Rudman Park in Tyler, Texas, with many participants coming together to help fight against epilepsy. The walk also brought further awareness to the challenges that come with having epilepsy and helped raise funds for life-saving therapies and other resources.

Our puppies had a great time meeting with participants and their families. They also enjoyed making memorable strides for such a wonderful cause. 

The Epilepsy Foundation of Texas’s main mission is to enhance the lives of those living with epilepsy. They want to ensure that every person with this condition has access to reliable services, helpful information, and quality care that specializes in stopping seizures. These services would include both adult and child-age individuals with epilepsy.

We are quite thrilled to have had the opportunity to have helped out others during our walk. We know that with every step we took, it would help save many lives. To us, The Walk to END EPILEPSY allowed us to help our community through our team efforts and cuddly puppies!
