On September 27, 2022, the Petland Texas team returned to the Museum District Childcare Center in Houston, TX for another round of puppy love!

Toddlers enjoyed a snuggly morning of petting, playing with, and otherwise getting to know our Petland pups, as well as the committed volunteers who brought them. An assortment of fluffy breeds were in the mix, keeping the child care center staff and kids on their toes. Nothing quite melts the heart like watching babies and puppies bond! 

Puppies are naturally therapeutic and can help foster a child’s trust and curiosity. Our Petland puppies greeted the toddlers with gentle nudges and warm kisses, and the fun didn’t stop there. The time together was filled with smiles, laughter, and memory-making moments that will last a lifetime, which is what Petland Texas is all about.

Supporting our community in any way we can is at the heart of our mission. It might come as a surprise, but a little time spent with a little puppy can make a big impact on a child’s life. Our volunteers certainly experienced a positive impact that day with the lovely staff, toddlers, and precious pups. 

We can’t wait for our next visit to the Museum District Childcare Center and continuing this relationship that nurtures both children and their furry friends!
