On Tuesday, October 30, 2018, The City of Pembroke Pines hosted its annual Boo-ville event at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, FL. And the Petland Texas team definitely had tons of exciting, candy-filled fun!
The event was held for visitors of all ages and included a variety of spooky hollow-day activities. Participants were able to show off their best Halloween costumes at costume contests, fill pumpkins and carrying cases with lots of candy at trick-or-treating stations, and partake in a number of arts & crafts activities. Those with food allergies and other health complications were provided with alternative food choices by The Teal Pumpkin Project.
Boo-ville also featured pumpkin patches and a new carving contest. Categories for this contest included: Scariest, Funniest, and Most Creative. These pumpkins were also displayed at the event for all visitors to see. Kids in attendance were also able to vote on a pumpkin of their choice in a Kid’s Choice Award.
We at Petland Texas enjoyed our time at this spooktacular event and hope to jump in again on the fun for next year’s Boo-ville!
